The 4th China Cross border Trade Fair kicked off to promote the integration of cross-border e-commerce between China and ASEAN

image.pngOn the morning of the 18th, in the overseas celebrity live streaming and docking zone of the 4th China Cross border E-commerce Fair (referred to as the "China Cross border Fair"), a series of hot Southeast Asian country "internet celebrity" live streaming sales activities brought Chinese and ASEAN consumers closer together.




On that day, the China Cross border Fair, with an exhibition area of approximately 50000 square meters, opened in Fuzhou, Fujian, attracting more than 30 cross-border e-commerce platforms worldwide, more than 80 export-oriented industrial belts in China, and more than 1500 exhibitors from over 110 cities to participate.




The rapid development of cross-border e-commerce exports has helped Chinese products reach the world. In 2023, China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports amounted to 2.38 trillion yuan (RMB), a year-on-year increase of 15.6%.




Cooperation with ASEAN has become a prominent highlight of this exhibition. In the overseas celebrity live streaming and matchmaking zone, dozens of top "internet celebrities" with millions of fans from Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand gathered to showcase live streaming sales scenes through live streaming.




In the Southeast Asian Special Enterprise Pavilion section, exhibitors from countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia have gathered for the first time to participate in a group exhibition, connecting with China's booming cross-border e-commerce industry chain.




The China Indonesia "Two Countries, Two Parks" economic and trade achievements exhibition area also made an appearance at the exhibition on the same day. Since the approval of the China Indonesia Economic and Trade Innovation and Development Demonstration Park in January last year, the construction of the "Two Countries, Two Parks" between China and Indonesia has continued to accelerate, becoming a major highlight of the expansion of economic and trade cooperation between Fujian and ASEAN. At present, there are 81 signed projects in the "Two Countries, Two Parks" between China and Indonesia, with a total investment of 121.86 billion yuan.




You Shijie, Director of the Investment Promotion Center for China and Indonesia's "Two Countries, Two Parks", stated that the "Two Countries, Two Parks" project will help deliver various distinctive Indonesian products to the Chinese people through high-quality e-commerce content, personalized recommendations, and convenient shopping processes.




Ruan Weixing, the person in charge of the China Cross border Trade Fair, said that ASEAN is the region with the fastest growth in global e-commerce scale. The annual theme of this exhibition is "Cross border to ASEAN and E-commerce to Southeast Asia". Indonesia is invited as the guest of honor for this exhibition, focusing on the new e-commerce model of live streaming sales, directly linking domestic and Southeast Asian bilateral markets, and promoting the deep integration of China ASEAN's cross-border e-commerce industry chain, supply chain, and talent chain.




Under the wave of globalization, cross-border e-commerce companies are flocking overseas to select products. This exhibition is the first to set up a product selection zone for overseas markets, selecting nearly 200 overseas product selection exhibitions suitable for cross-border e-commerce ecology from thousands of well-known exhibitions around the world, covering markets such as Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. As one of the organizers of the exhibition, Chen Danfeng, Chairman of Fujian Huiyuan Cultural Development Group, stated that in the future, in addition to continuing to lead cross-border e-commerce sellers into the national foreign trade characteristic industry belt, he will also assist sellers in selecting products overseas, promoting Chinese enterprises from "buying the whole country and selling the world" to "buying the whole world and selling the whole world".




Since its establishment in 2021, the China Cross Strait Fair has served over 10000 domestic enterprises to achieve "brand going abroad", covering more than 100 countries or regions, and has held a series of exhibitions in the United States, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Ruan Weixing stated that in the future, China's Cross border Trade Fair will be market-oriented and expand globally through "going global".
